BioThane® is a polyester webbing coated with either TPU or PVC, designed to be ultra-strong, flexible, and waterproof. It’s often called “vegan leather” for its durability and smooth texture. Unlike leather, it won’t absorb moisture, retain odors, or weaken when wet. It’s used in professional gear for both dogs and horses, and it’s quickly become a top choice for working dog trainers around the world.
At OMEGA K9, we chose BioThane® for HOLLENHUND gear because it holds up to real Canadian conditions. Our gear gets wet, muddy, frozen, and everything in between – and BioThane® keeps performing.

A quick wipe with a cloth or rinse in soapy water is all it takes to clean. (Machine washing not recommended.)
